Man's body recovered from spillway near Linganore dam

As daylight waned and an anxious crowd watched Thursday, authorities recovered the body of a man from the rough waters at the base of a spillway near Lake Linganore Dam.

Officials could not identify the man, but Frederick County Sheriff's Office Capt. Tim Clarke said he was white and between 20 and 40 years old.
