A van might not seem like the most exciting birthday present, but for Brent Blickenstaff, it means freedom.

Brent, who turned 58 on Wednesday, received the handicapped-accessible van from family and friends “to get out (and) break the boredom of the day,” said Patty Blickenstaff, his wife.

    Our wishes and prayers are with this gentleman's speedy recovery into a new "normal" lifestyle that will be just as fulfilling, and with his family for their obviously strong support. I'm hopeful that with all the past taxpayer support of Citizens, some of that support found its way to you.
