Some mysteries might be better left unsolved.

On Monday, an anonymous donor dropped a 1-ounce gold U.S. Liberty coin in a Salvation Army kettle in front of Boscov’s on the Golden Mile stretch of U.S. 40.

The National Commander of the Salvation Army's yearly compensation was approximately $126,900 which is far less than the $1 million you claim he is paid and is also much less than many other CEO's/Directors from other charitable organizations such as the Red Cross and the United Way. If you do not feel compelled to drop some money in the red pot or to send a donation at any other time of the year, that is your prerogative. We are all free to donate or not through any charity we choose. I just happen to know from personal experience how kind the SA is. At any rate, have a Merry Christmas and a blessed new year, discreetboi21705.

God bless the folks who made these donations! You reap what you sow, and it will come back to you tenfold! The SA is a great organization helping people everywhere. Anyone can fall on hard times and/or find their circumstances in life changed, so it is great to know that the SA is there to help.
