With average monthly health insurance premiums of $100 to $330, the Affordable Care Act's definition of affordable may seem reasonable to some uninsured people and not to others.

By law, everyone has to have health insurance, or an exemption from it, by Jan. 1, 2014, or be liable to pay a penalty. Many people welcome the opportunity to get insured, state officials said.

Did Pelosi read the ACA yet? no worries, she sent waivers to most of those who asked to be exempt from Obamacare.

"A U.S. Department of Health and Human Services report on federally run health exchanges found that the average premium nationally for the second-lowest cost silver plan will be $328 before tax credits."

Where do those tax credits come from? Well, that Obama-dollars -- it is all part of the fundamental transformation . . . he couldn't figure out a more affordable way to provide universal access to catastrophic health insurance or preventive care, but he sure knows how to take from those that earn.

What is missing from Obamacare is dental coverage. And there are still about 20 million it fails to cover, people whose employers are too cheap to provide these benefits. Obamacare must be expanded to include them, too, and funded via a tax on those employers who decline to provide health and dental coverage. The stinking employers can either step up to the plate and provide health and dental coverage, or pay the taxes for the government to do their job for them.
