Lecture to be held

Church history lecture on the crusaders and scholars will be presented by Steve Weidenkopf, church historian, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Libertytown 7 p.m. Nov. 21 in the church. Topics include the Last Crusade; the heresy that threatened the existence of the Church; the age of scholasticism; the profound influence of Saints. November is "National Adoption Month" and Taneytown Baptist Church, 4150 Sells Mill Road, Taneytown, will be holding a special Adoption Awareness service on Nov. 22.
