A wet spring pest

Whoever coined the phrase "slugging around in bad weather" sure knew what they were describing. Cool, rainy weather in the spring is exactly the kind of ideal conditions that slugs love. It would not surprise me at all to see an outbreak of slugs this spring, if the weather is right for them. At best, we should be prepared to act just in case. more »
