Jessica Hibbard

Jessica Hibbard purchased her first home in Frederick in 2005, after which she completely recovered from a childhood fear of hardware stores, surrendering to a full-blown obsession with home improvement.

Frustrated with the typically stuffy approach to home & garden media, she became determined to share her interest in a more youthful, creative approach to design and decor with like-minded readers.

When she's not shopping for power tools, architectural salvage or colorful pottery, you might find Jessica walking with her husband in Baker Park, watching movies with her three cats, or snapping photos in her garden.

Jessica received a degree in communication and art from Ithaca College in 2001. A native of rural northeastern Pennsylvania, she hopes to one day build a home on her family's farm in the country.
