Is there something beyond the economic recession now engulfing the country, and the world?Robert A. Dye, Ph.D., will talk on "Searching for the New Normal" at this year's annual Economic Symposium. The event is set for 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Weinberg Center for the Arts. The event, free and open to the public, will be the sixth symposium on the economy. The symposium is sponsored by Frederick Innovative Technology Center Inc., Moore Wealth, PNC and the Weinberg Center for the Arts. Dye is vice president and senior economist for PNC Financial Services Group. He is a member of the National Association of Business Economics and president of the Pittsburgh Economic Club. Dye is an integral part of analysis and financial trend forecasts for PNC both nationally and globally.
