Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the ancient medical system that the Chinese have used for thousands of years, well before the advent of what we now call modern science. It assists the patient in recovery by restoring the natural balance of the body that becomes disturbed or upset by injury and/or illness.
TCM encompasses a variety of treatment modalities. Acupuncture is one of the most popular methods of treatment used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to treat a wide array of diseases and conditions. Other modalities include herbal medicine, cupping, and moxibustion.
