THURMONT: Strong winds wreak havoc with gardener's timbers

In the 20 years John Wyvell has owned Stone Fence Gardens on Mountaindale Road, he never experienced winds as strong as the gusts that roared through Friday. The mountain usually serves as a wind buffer, but not this time, Wyvell said. The winds wreaked havoc on Wyvell's gardens to the tune of about $10,000. more »
