Mrs. Ruth Ann Hamilton, 66, of Frederick, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert William Hamilton, her husband of 34 years.Born on May 19, 1941, in Silver Spring, she was the daughter of the late William James and Eleise Ann Teele Cryer. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her loving children, Sharon Lee and partner Mary O'Brien, Michael Mason and wife Marti and Catherine Linton and husband Troy; also by her loved stepdaughters, Donna Mayne and husband William, Carol Young and husband Joseph and Patricia Drabick and husband Mahlon; her grandsons, Michael Mason, Matthew Lee, Andrew Lee and Connor Linton; and many beloved step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her stepdaughter Patti, her caregivers Donna Beatty, Gladys Abankwah and Rosemary Fianko and to Hospice. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, from Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, with the Rev. Tim May officiating. Interment will be private.
