Miss Robin Biser

Miss Robin Kim Biser, 48, of Frederick, passed away at home with her family, Wednesday, April 2, 2008.Born in Frederick, April 4, 1959, she was the daughter of John B. and Sandra E. Creager Eury, of Frederick. Robin was a 1977 graduate of Gov. Thomas Johnson High School, she had been a member of the Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church; and had been active in Disabled Citizens United of Frederick County; the Frederick Rollin Aerobics; was an active participant in the March of Dimes Walk-a-thon for many years; and enjoyed annual camping trips around Maryland, often to Camp Green Top. Robin was a resident of Northampton Manor Nursing Center for many years due to issue with her multiple sclerosis and enjoyed attending Bible study, church and playing bingo with the other residents. Besides her parents, she is survived by one brother, Kenneth E. "Kenny" Biser and wife, Teresa of Hagerstown; one sister, Laurie L. Biser Wolfe and husband, Richard of Frederick; a nephew, Tim Biser, of Hagerstown; step-grandparents, Lee and Mildred Eury of Frederick; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also remembered by her devoted nurse, Diane Gouker of Northampton Manor and her friend and doctor, Gene Casagrande. She was preceded in death by a brother, George William Biser; maternal grandparents, James and Mary Ellen Schultz Creager Sr.; and maternal great-grandparents, James and Goldie Baugher Schultz Sr. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 4, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, from the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. Roger Rollins, will officiate. Bearers will be Tim Biser, Rich Wolfe, Mike Grimes, Jesse Johnson, Mark Creager, James Creager Jr., Jeff Creager, and Brandon Creager. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church, 517 S. Market St., Frederick, MD 21701 or to Hospice of Frederick County, Inc., P.O.
