Mrs. Marjorie Ann Lodge

Marjorie Ann Lodge, 94, of Frederick, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009. She was the widow of the late Frederic G. Lodge, who died in 1991.

Born Oct. 29, 1914, in Northumberland, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Eva Elizabeth Solomon Smeigh.

Mrs. Lodge, along with her late husband, were longtime members of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ of Frederick. She took great pride in and enjoyed time spent on crafts, painting, knitting and her sewing circle, the "Needle Arts Club." Many of Mrs. Lodge's crafts and paintings will be treasured along with fond memories for her family and friends.

Mrs. Lodge is survived by her son, Frederic H. (Pete) Lodge and wife, Sue Ann, of Frederick; her daughter, Dee Ann Weller and husband, Roy, of Frederick; her grandchildren, Lori Ann Adams and husband, Kevin, Frederic David Lodge and wife, Elizabeth, J. Corey Weller and wife, Tammy, and Christopher --J. Weller and wife, Regina; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lodge was preceded in death by one sister, Romaine Goldbach.

Visitation with family will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Keeney and Basford, P.A., Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. from the funeral home. The Rev. Barbara Kershner Daniel will officiate. Interment will be at the Resthaven Memorial Garden, Frederick.

Pallbearers for the service will be J. Corey Weller, Christopher J. Weller, Frederic David Lodge, Kevin Adams, Roy L. Weller and Jacob Lee Adams.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Marjorie Ann Lodge to the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ, Abiding Member's Fund, 15 W. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701.
