Mrs. Eunice Keaton

Mrs. Eunice Keaton, 85, of Frederick, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late William Keaton.Born Dec. 4, 1923, in Knott County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Crockett and Charlotte Patrick. Mrs. Keaton loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Elsie Crummitt and husband, John, of Jefferson, Billy Keaton and wife, Patricia, of Mount Airy, James Keaton of Virginia, Johnny Ray Keaton of Thurmont, Thomas Keaton of Washington, Paul Keaton of Frederick and Lois Keaton of Washington. There are 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who also survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Dawson; a brother, Arley Patrick; and two sisters, Eulanda Patrick and Mary Hall. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Linganore United Methodist Church Cemetery, 8921 Clemsonville Road, Unionville with Rev. David Coakley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908, Eldersburg, MD 21784. Arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick.
