Born April 26, 1948, in Harrisonburg, Va., he was the son of the late James E. Knight and Gladys Joseph Knight.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Cathleen M. Knight; one daughter, Denise Francella; one son, Eric Knight; five grandchildren, Brian and Justin Francella, Adam and Andrea Knight and Chris Lee; one great-grandchild, Shiloh Lee; two sisters, Diane Bane and Margie Willis; and nephews and niece, Scott, Frank, Lonnie Dustin and Teresa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Marc Knight; and a nephew, Vince.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, at Hedgesville Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Sheets officiating. Interment will be private.
