Mrs. Shirley Ann Muller

Mrs. Shirley Ann Muller, 73, of Middleburg, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at St. Catherine's Nursing Center, Emmitsburg. Born May 12, 1936, in Littlestown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Theron Thomas and Ruth Stavely Weaver. She was the wife of John Henry Muller, who predeceased her in 1991. Mrs. Muller was a member of Middleburg United Methodist Church. She was a housewife and enjoyed gardening, country music, camping, trips to Florida, bingo and Longaberger baskets. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Vincent Iser of Thurmont; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary L. and Teresa Muller of Union Bridge, and John T. Muller of Keymar; stepdaughter, Norma Smith and husband, George, of Brunswick; daughter-in-law, Loretta Mae Muller of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Teresa Foltz of Fostoria, Mich.; and brother, Thomas Weaver of Texas. She was predeceased by a son, Terry E. Muller, in 1982. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge, with the Rev. Tim Webster, pastor of Uniontown Bible Church, officiating. Interment will be in Middleburg Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
