Mr. Stephen Alan Haugh

Mr. Stephen Alan Haugh, 54, of Westminster, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Carroll Hospital Center.Born in Frederick on Sept. 7, 1955, he was the son of the late Ernest N. and Margaret E. (Hutchins) Haugh. He was predeceased by his wife of 18 years, Leland Amber (Powell) Haugh. Surviving him is a brother, David Lee Haugh and his wife, Donna, of Mount Airy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was a devoted nurse working at Carroll Hospital Center, leaving for a few years to devote his skills to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Most recently he was employed with Carroll Hospice. Steve was a former member of Lisbon and Mount Airy volunteer fire companies. He was an avid NASCAR and Baltimore Ravens fan. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, with Chaplain David Bare of Carroll Hospice officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mount Airy.
