Margaret A. "Peggy" Barbour, 67, of Dover, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at Oak Point Care Center. She was born Dec. 23, 1941, in Dover, Ohio, to Marshall and the late Eleanor (Freshwater) Renner.She was a graduate of the Aultman Hospital School of Nursing, was a registered nurse in several hospitals in the region as well as many others in the states that she and her husband resided in, was a member of First Methodist Church in Dover, was a hobby artist and loved cats and dogs. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Barbour, in June 2009. She is survived by her father, Marshall, and step-mother, Trudy, of Canton; her children, Diana E. Barbour of Morgantown, W.Va., and Damon E. (Molly) Barbour of Frederick; and her brother, Walter Renner of North Canton. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton, with the Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. (prior to the service) Saturday at the funeral home.
