Ms. Beverly Kay Garlick Howard

Ms. Beverly Kay Garlick Howard, 54, of Germantown, died suddenly Monday evening, Nov. 2, 2009, at Howard County General Hospital, Columbia.Born on Aug. 23, 1955, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Lester and Mary Katherine Watkins Garlick; and graduated from high school while living in Cumberland. Ms. Howard worked with Networks Presentations for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are five children, Rhonda K. Keir of Damascus, Stacey R. Birdsall and husband, Timothy, of Pasadena, Kenny L. Howard of Germantown, Keith P. Howard of Frederick and Kristina N. Howard of Germantown; grandchildren, Timmy, Conlan, Sheyanne, Cagen, Serenity and Patience; sisters, Joline Lowry and husband, Dick, and Lesa Lynch and husband, Bill, all of Rawlings; as well as former spouse, Kenneth L. Howard I of Emmitsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. The funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 7, at Calvary Baptist Church, 14513 McMullen Highway, SW, Cumberland. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church. The Rev. Bruce A. McBride will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland. Arrangements are by Adams Family Funeral Home, 404 Decatur St., Cumberland.
