Robert Daniel Shiloh Hamilton, 34, of Philadelphia, left this world Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009.He was born Feb. 21, 1975, in Worcester, Mass. Rob was an avid skateboarder and snowboarder, hobbies he shared with his son, Rakim. He was intelligent, funny and loved music. He also was outgoing and friendly with a gentle soul -- always looking out for the underdog. He is survived by his father, Daniel Hamilton of Frederick; and leaves behind his mother and stepfather, Carol (Dr. Z) and Michael Zehnacker of Frederick; and his son, Rakim Hamilton of Middletown. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Virginia Jago and husband, Chris, of Canoga Park, Calif., and Vicki DeVriendt and husband, Andrew, of Middletown; three nephews, Alenander DeVriendt, Jace and Cooper Jago; two nieces, Allison and Amber Devriendt; and paternal grandmother, Sophie Hamilton of Lower Burrell, Pa. He will be remembered by many close friends in Frederick and Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in his name to the Tony Hawk Foundation at TonyHawkFoundation.org or Tony Hawk Foundation, 1611-A South Melrose Drive, #360, Vista, CA 92081. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life service from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Worman's Mill Club House, 2470 Stoney Creek Road, Frederick, MD 21701.
