Mrs. Pamela Elizabeth Sellman

As originally published on Saturday, November 7, 2009.

Pamela Elizabeth Sellman, 65, loving mother and sister, and devoted friend, passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 3, 2009, in Frederick, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

While providing logistical support to NIH's Human Genome Project, Pam cared passionately for painting, dramatic costume design and local history. She was a costumer in film and local theater for more than 40 years. Pam also volunteered much of her time at local historical societies in Washington Grove and Frederick. She generously donated to national and international charities and cared deeply for the human rights, education and environmental health of people at home and abroad.

Pam is survived by the broken hearts of her son, sister, nephews, nieces, cousins and devoted friends, whose love and friendship spanned her lifetime.

Services will be at a later date.

Arrangements are by Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.
