Mr. John W. Brennan

John W. Brennan, 76, of Frederick, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Golden Living. He was the husband of Doris Brennan. They were married for 55 years.Born Dec. 13, 1932, he was the son of the late William and Sara Brennan. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. John was a manager for Home Paramount Pest Control. He retired after 30 plus years. He loved to golf and enjoyed reading. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Frederick. In addition to his loving wife Doris, he is survived by three sons, Michael P. Brennan of Frederick, Kevin F. Brennan and wife, Mindy, of Nashville, Tenn., and John T. Brennan and wife, Annette, of Charles Town, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Kristen N. Carmi and husband, Ronin, Lauren N. Brennan, Brooke M. Brennan, Ashley M. Brennan, Joseph P. Brennan and Daniel Q. Brennan; a sister, Patricia B. Hunter; a niece, Jean Marie Lewis; and a great-niece, Rachel Lewis. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Patricia Brennan. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 116 E. Second St., Frederick, with Father Dan Goulet officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Western Maryland Chapter, 108 Byte Drive, Suite 103 Frederick, MD 21702.
