The following domestic violence cases occurred this year in Frederick County, Upper Montgomery County and Washington County:
March 26 — Family found dead; Rodriguez/Benitez coverage l Multimedia coverage
April 3 — Man kills two toddlers, then self
Oct. 11 —Murder-suicide in Dearbought subdivision
Oct. 25 — Man hangs self after killing his wife in their Lake Linganore house
Oct. 28 — Police: Woodsboro man murders wife
Nov. 23 — Urbana man kills ex, 3 kids and self
Dec. 20 — Man stabs former girlfriend to death, then shoots and kills police officer

Soldier will likely be fired after alleged desertion
The Army will likely fire a Westminster soldier accused of desertion, even though his family claims he did everything he could to get back to his unit after coming home on emergency leave to care for his sick wife and newborn daughter.

Crash victim's widow recalls happy years together
