Vigil held for mental health awareness

A candlelight vigil was held to raise awareness of mental health issues at the Way Station in Frederick Sunday evening.

The first week of October is Mental Health Awareness Week.

The event featured music, poetry and shared experiences by members and staff of the Way Station. For information on events and services sponsored by NAMI of Frederick County call 240-379-6186.
