Incumbents voted out, new crew set for Board of Aldermen

All three incumbents have been voted out, leaving a new set of five aldermen ready to take office in the City of Frederick .

Four Democrats and one Republican have been voted in while incumbents Paul Smith, Donna Kuzemchak and Alan Imhoff have been voted out.

The new board of aldermen looks like this:

  • Karen Young (D) - 3,577 votes
  • Michael O’Connor (D) - 3,393 votes
  • Shelley Aloi (R) - 3,314 votes
  • Carol Krimm (D) - 3,254 votes
  • Kelly Russell (D) - 3,240 votes

    Vote totals are unofficial.

    There are still about 450 write-in votes to be counted Thursday.
