A Frederick County grand jury Friday indicted two men on attempted murder charges, two men on burglary charges and four illegal immigrants on drug distribution charges, Deputy State's Attorney Nanci Hamm said.

The indictments forward all of those cases to Circuit Court. No trial dates have been set.

Hamm said the grand jury indicted:

— Lewis Donald Weedon Jr., 41, of Frederick , on charges of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and a felony handgun offense.

Weedon is accused of shooting Becky Lynn Wilkerson, 34, of Frederick , several times early Sept. 12 during an apparent domestic dispute, Frederick police said.

Weedon then shot himself in the head and has been held without bail since his release from Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, police said.

— Richard P. Michael, 67, of Frederick , on charges of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Michael is accused of stabbing a man about 12:30 a.m. Oct. 2 near Fifth and East streets, Frederick police said.

The stabbing victim was treated for his injuries at the Hagerstown trauma center.

— Donald Leroy Stone, 45, of Frederick , on one count each of first- and second-degree burglary, two counts of fourth-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property.

On Oct. 6, six weeks after winning an early release from prison for cooperating with authorities in a murder case involving a federal witness, Stone was arrested on new burglary charges, according to court documents.

About 3:50 p.m., sheriff's deputies arrested Stone for a burglary that same day in the 7200 block of McKaig Road. The resident identified Stone as the man who kicked in his garage door, police said.

— Andrew William Hall, 18, of Middletown , on charges of second- and fourth-degree burglary and theft under $1,000 in a break-in at the Barnes Country Store.

Alcohol was stolen in the theft Oct. 5, and a police dog was used to track the burglar; police accused Hall of the crime.

— Cirilo L. Hernandez, 38, Luis R.V. Pichard, 32, Luis B. Flores, 35, and Leonides C.J. Ramirez, 23, all of Winchester, Va., on numerous drug distribution charges and handgun violations.

The men were arrested Sept. 16 by the Frederick County Narcotics Task Force during a raid in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street.

Police said they seized a kilogram of cocaine, two guns and $2,925 in cash.

The men are wanted through the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and will eventually face deportation, authorities said.
