Stolen credit cards used to buy items

The Frederick County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying two people accused of stealing credit cards to buy items at Target.

A deputy was called Oct. 18 to PetSmart on Urbana Pike after an employee realized several credit cards and her driver's license were missing from her purse, Cpl. Jennifer Bailey said. The credit cards were used later that day to make purchases totaling $2,400 from the nearby Target.

The black woman seen in the surveillance pictures is heavyset with short brown hair. She was wearing black pants, a black shirt and a black jacket. The black man has a slim build and was wearing jeans, a white shirt and a black jacket.

Anyone with information should call Deputy Amanda Veith at 301-600-7115.
