Greene Turtle robbedThe Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille on Citizens Way was robbed Monday, according to the Frederick Police Department. The robber forced an employee into the manager's office about 12:30 a.m. Monday, police said. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the thief ran away. Police did not find a suspect after a search of the area. The robbery occurred half an hour before the business closed. The Illiano Group, which owns the business, had no comment, said Leigh Sauter, director of marketing. Anyone with information should call the department at 301-600-TIPS or fpdcrimetip@frederickmdpolice.org. -- Gina Gallucci-White Stolen ATV recovered Officers were able to recover a stolen ATV after a complaint of suspicious people in the 200 block of Dill Avenue, according to the Frederick Police Department. When officers arrived about 7 p.m. Sunday, they found Jesse Downs, 27, of Frederick sitting on a four-wheeler-style ATV, police said. After investigating, officers found the ATV had been stolen from Waynesboro, Pa., in October. Downs was charged with theft over $1,000 and motor vehicle theft, authorities said. He was released from the Frederick County Adult Detention Center after posting $7,500 bail. A Dec. 22 court date has been set. -- Gina Gallucci-White Fire damage at school portable A portable at Parkway Elementary School was damaged after an electrical fire in the ceiling. The fire occurred about 5:30 a.m. Monday, according to Frederick County Public Schools. The fifth-grade class that used the portable was relocated to another area of the school, said Peggy Ballew, executive secretary for FCPS communication services. -- Gina Gallucci-White Traffic stop leads to drug arrest Two Adamstown residents were charged with marijuana possession after a deputy stopped their vehicle on New Design Road at Corporate Drive, according to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. The vehicle, stopped about 11 p.m. Saturday, did not have a lit license plate, the sheriff's office said. A K-9 unit was called and alerted deputies to the smell of drugs. Suspected marijuana was found in the vehicle and the driver, Cheltony Leandros Soares Miguel, 18, was arrested, the sheriff's office said. Suspected marijuana was found on the passenger, Davon A. Vinson, 18. Both were released on personal recognizance, authorities said. -- Gina Gallucci-White Not stopping leads to two arrests Middletown -- Two people were arrested after a deputy pulled over their vehicle for not stopping at a stop sign near Franklin Street and Md. 17, according to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. A check with the state's Motor Vehicle Administration showed the driver, Keith B. Murray, 47, of Jefferson , had a revoked license, the sheriff's office said. The passenger, Laura B. Asbury, 46, of Halltown, W.Va., became so loud and belligerent at deputies that people came out of a nearby fire hall, the sheriff's office said. She was charged with disorderly conduct. Suspected marijuana was found in the vehicle, the sheriff's office said. Murray was charged with driving on a revoked license and marijuana possession. Both were released on personal recognizance from the Frederick County Adult Detention center, authorities said. -- Gina Gallucci-White Three charged with poaching violations CREAGERSTOWN -- Three Frederick County residents were charged with poaching Sunday on Old Mill Road, according to the Natural Resources Police. Andrew Arthur Wolfe, 24, of Woodsboro , Andrew Marshall Phillips, 25, and John Kennedy Fitzgerald, 44, both of Thurmont , were charged, police said. The men were in a vehicle shining an artificial light on to a field in search of deer. One muzzleloader was taken. -- Gina Gallucci-White--
