Sarah Fitzpatrick says she was the first in line for the midnight release of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” arriving at 10:45 a.m. With her ticket purchased about two months ago, Fitzpatrick was able to see an advance screening of the film earlier in the day.
Selecting a movie from the menu of choices was easy late Thursday.

All screens at Regal Westview Stadium 16 featured the same flick: "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."

Based on the second of a popular four-part series of books, the film was released at midnight Thursday.

Two hours before the show, box-office windows were unusually quiet. All but four of the shows were sold out, according to Regal Entertainment Group's website.

Two teenagers and an adult were camped out in the lobby. Amanda Stehr, 17, said the heroine, Bella, is human.

Bella lives in a town with a strange student population.

Vampires attend the school, Stehr said.

"No one in town knows they're vampires," she said.

Except the werewolves.

Do the werewolves attend school?

No, said Alaina Reilly, 18. The werewolves are more "tribal," she said.
