Facing a strong Arundel team with a pair of Division I-bound stars and experiencing their own shooting woes, the Urbana girls were defeated, 52-42, in the Class 4A State girls basketball semifinals at UMBC's RAC Arena.

Scenes from Linganore around 6pm Wednesday, where a body was found in the water at the Lake Linganore Dam, near the end of Eaglehead Drive. Fire and Rescue Services were on the scene to recover the body. No official was available for comment at the scene.

Police, fire officials offer updates on recovery effort

Dive teams resumed efforts today to recover a body at the Lake Linganore dam, authorities said. Two fishermen saw the body and called police about 2 p.m. Wednesday.
