ACT TOO! Musical Theater Summer Camps
{Ages 7-17}
CAMP #1: JULY 6th- JULY 17th (Performances JULY 17th, 18th, & 19th)
JACK AND THE GIANT
{You know... Jack and the Beanstalk}
CAMP #2: JULY 27th - AUGUST 7th (Performances AUGUST 7th, 8th, & 9th)
THE DRACULA ROCK SHOW
{Vampires, zombies, evil genius, and hilarity, child appropriate, of course}

Each camp is Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, for two weeks.
Camp and performances will be held at the CULTURAL ARTS CENTER (15 West Patrick St. in Frederick MD).
Each camp will have three performances and cast size is limited to 30 cast members-so register now!
Participants will need to bring the following:
~a three prong folder or binder
~two pencils
~a packed lunch
~extra snacks/drinks
~a blank CD-R
~a few personal items of interest to use during break-time, if desired
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that can get messy from painting or stage make-up.
No skirts please (unless there are shorts or stretch pants/leggings of some sort underneath).
In addition to rehearsing the show, participants will engage in acting games and exercises to improve theatrical skills including: improvisation, pantomime, character development, vocalization, memorization, and more!
Participants will also have voice class and music rehearsal each day, basic choreography, will learn the basics of applying stage make-up, attend set/lighting class, costume class, stage combat class, and may also help with the creation of the set.
Every participant will be required to audition to see who will play each role.
(Auditions do not determine whether you can participate-only to see who fits each role.)
EVERY CAMP PARTICIPANT WILL HAVE A PART TO PLAY!!!
Register on our website and we will send you more information including an alternate audition date (if needed)!
Once we have received your deposit, you will be emailed an information packet that will include the times for auditions.
A $100 deposit will be required to hold your spot in the camp (Please mail to: ACT TOO! 177 Rock Lane Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 – your spot will not be secured until your deposit is paid!).
We recommend that you mail in your deposit as soon as show titles are posted so that your spot will be reserved.
The total cost of each camp is $350.
We offer a discount for multiple participants from the same family.
{Sibling duscount ~ $350 for the first child, $300 for the second, $250 for the third...}
