About CPT (Dr) Harris Ahmad Abbasi: CPT Harris A. Abbasi, O.D. is currently the commander of the 33rd Optometry Medical Detachment, Ft Polk, LA; and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a 1998 graduate of Gov. Thomas Johnson High School, a 2002 Graduate of The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, and a 2008 graduate from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico College of Optometry. He is the son of MAJ Intisar A. Abbasi US ARMY(ret) and Summer Abbasi and brother to Leila and Shawn Abbasi of Frederick. We pray for a successful mission and safe return home.
