You must be 21 years of age or older to submit a photo and receive prizes from sponsors. No purchase necessary. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
The Frederick News-Post reserves the right to use any and all images and information related to the contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purposes, unless prohibited by law.
Winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is ineligible and unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If The Frederick News-Postcannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
The Frederick News-Post reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to email notification and are judged to be eligible and in compliance with the contest rules.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. If it is determined that there is a conflict in the contest rules, such conflict shall be resolved in writing to persons making such a claim by Randall Family, LLC., at its sole discretion.
Photo eligibility
- Photos with any nudity or inappropriate gestures will be deemed ineligible and will not be entered into the contest.
- The Frederick News-Post reserves the right to reject any submission for any reason.
- Photos can be black and white, or color. Digital photos must be in jpg format of at least 200 dpi.
- Copyrighted photos will not be accepted without a photographer’s release.
- Photos that are submitted must be the original work of the submitter.

- Photo submissions are processed and completed online with a credit and/or debit card.
- The $5 donation will benefit the Special Olympics of Frederick County.
How to vote for your favorite fan photo
NOTE: This is an online contest! Mail-in ballots/votes will not be accepted.
- Voting and voting donations are processed and completed online with a credit and/or debit card.
- You may vote online as often as you like. There is no limit to donation votes online. Votes are .25 cents per vote, with a 20-vote minimum.
- Voting donations benefit Newspaper in Education, a literacy initiative of The Frederick News-Post.
- Voting is open to the general public.
