Services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, individual and group counseling, victim advocate services and legal representation, medical advocacy services for victims of sexual assault, abuser intervention groups, transitional housing, and community outreach and professional education. All services are confidential except in cases of reportable child abuse and with threats of homicide or suicide.

In Maryland, forensic nurse examiners work within a sexual assault forensic examiner program in a hospital to complete medical forensic examinations, treat victims for sexually transmitted infections, and address pregnancy concerns.
- Domestic Abuse Crisis Hotline: 1-888-7HELPLINE (743-5754) -- National 24-hour hotline operated by staff and trained volunteers to offer information and crisis intervention to victims of intimate partner violence.
- Frederick County Hotline: 301-662-2255 -- 24-hour phone counseling for Frederick County residents of all ages regarding a variety of issues including: loneliness, depression, suicide, abuse, relationships, family concerns and substance abuse (confidential and free). Operated by the Frederick County Mental Health Association.
- Maryland Crisis Hotline: 1-800-422-0009 -- 24-hour toll-free phone line that provides information and referral and support and crisis intervention for people of Frederick, Washington, Allegany and Garrett counties.
