Tragedy in Lake Linganore
Sean Patrick McMahon, 30, hanged himself after he killed his wife inside their house in Lake Linganore.
McMahon poured a flammable liquid throughout the house at 6661 Harbor Light Way, including its basement, according to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. Fire consumed the house.
Investigators found his body along with that of his wife, Marijke Sherwood McMahon, 26, inside the two-story house.
Officials said Marijke McMahon died from blunt trauma to the head and asphyxiation.
