The bloodiest of all days
General Gouverneur K. Warren saved Little Round Top. Sent by General Meade to survey the left flank of the army on the second day of the battle, Warren discovered Little Round Top was unprotected. Once Warren saw this he sent an aide off to find Union troops to come and protect the hill and Devil's Den.
