What's standing in our way?
Is it ... mental or is it just our true skills?
These last few weeks have been tough with more serious practices, playing under pressure?as well as working with the jv players. This is when us eight seniors kick it into action and start playing with heart and bringing the other players along with us.
We are such a strong team endurance-wise, but when it comes to game day we need to hustle! Field hockey is about skills but you can't use those skills if you don't have the speed for them. It's a secret weapon and we can definitely set the pace for a game if we use it right.
Mentally we know we can score and beat other teams, but when it comes down to it something is stopping us. We are playing for that game that no matter how hard we tried or how many goals we got beat by, the feeling of accomplishment is within us.
