Athletes of the week : Shernice Disney

Girls Basketball
Walkersville's Shernice Disney put up some big numbers last week on her way to earning the top girls' athlete of the week award.

She had 17 points, nine rebounds and five assists to help the Lions beat South Hagerstown, 68-39, last week.

Disney, just a sophomore, has ranked among the area's top scorers this season. Currently, she's averaging 11.0 points per game.
