Wonder 1: Rainbows. My family has lived in Frederick County's Adamstown/Buckeystown area for 7 years and I have seen more rainbows here than I had seen anywhere else in my life; Picture-perfect half-circle arcs, sometimes even double rainbows! You will most certainly find one of these beauties towering over the bend in the Monacacy near Buckeystown Park in the sun after a late afternoon thunderstorm. I would guess there are about 10 rainbows each year, mainly in the spring and summer. I will look for some photos I've taken and submit them later. Thank You.
