Wonder 1: Penn Mark Park-Big Rock--This is the mini-Grand Canyon on a clear day. Especially for Frederick Countians of old. The bands, the trains, the view.
Wonder 2: The covered bridges. Their beauty, craftsmanship, are awesome.
Wonder 3: The clustered spires--The inspire grace, tradition, and beauty. Frederick the beautiful.
Wonder 4: Baker Park--Tradition, drive by anytime of the day, night, or weekend. This is America as we like to remember.
Wonder 5: Braddock Heights--For me, it's the history of this magnificent entertainment capital in the early 1900's It stimulates thinking of how some Americans lived and enjoyed themselves in the early 1900's
Wonder 6: C&O Canal, as it rambles through Frederick County, especially in Dickerson where it crossses the Monocacy River...
Wonder 7: Market Street----It's still tradition, because it's not disgraced up by so-called improvement/modernization, development/increased value, or disrepair. It's a real classy place, just like it's been for a very long time. Thanks to the gate keepers of Frederick County tradition.
