Wonder 1: Schifferstadt Architectural Museum
Schifferstat is the oldest known house in Frederick. It belonged to Joseph Bruner, a immigrant from Mannhieim, Germany. He bought the land in 1746 and completed the house in 1756. I think the house should be one to the seven wonders because of it's age, durability and history. It is also a wonderful example of German Colonial architecture.
Wonder 2: Hessian Barracks
I think that the Hessian Barracks located at 101 Clarke Street should be also be a wonder of Frederick. These barracks were originally built to accomodate two battallions of soldiers but were eventually used to house mercenaries fighting for England. What an incredible piece of history right in our own backyard!
Wonder 3: Murals in downtown Frederick
I would consider the murals painted on the buildings in downtown Frederick to be one of the seven wonders purely for their beauty. I know that I personally love to look at them when I am walking or driving in downtown.
