Keynote speaker: Johannes Urpelainen, Ph.D., of the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies, discussing the global challenge of a changing climate including the difficulties and prospects for the world’s nation-states and supranational organizations to address it.

Urpelainen is the founding director of the Initiative for Sustainable Energy Policy (ISEP) at Johns Hopkins. He teaches action-oriented classes on energy and environmental policy to equip the next generation of global leaders with deep knowledge, advanced analytical skills and a passion for transformational social change.
