Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins will discuss school safety in the Frederick County's public schools.

Known as the “People’s Sheriff” Jenkins prides himself on being accessible and continually in touch with Frederick County citizens. Year round he hosts community meetings throughout the county. He works closely with Frederick County Public Schools as well as other local, state and federal agencies to address public safety issues. He has also implemented criminal enforcement initiatives such as the Frederick County Fire Investigation Task Force and the Pro-Active Criminal Enforcement Unit (P.A.C.E. Unit) to effectively target enforcement efforts in the community.
