Are you seeking a mentor?
Now you can gain access to a mentor and a supportive community of other women in Frederick County remotely! These women have life experiences to share, they are great listeners, have a caring heart and are interested in helping you succeed. Due to implications from COVID-19, instead of in-person workshops and meetings, we will conduct workshops and connect mentees and mentors virtually via Zoom.
By becoming a CORE Program Mentee, you will work one-on-one with a mentor, who will support and guide you through goal development and planning, learn new things about yourself, encourage and empower you, and helping you to take your next steps in your career, education and/or personal life. In addition to meeting with mentor regularly, you will also attend workshops about once per month from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. (on Tuesdays or Wednesdays) with your mentor and the rest of the cohort of other mentoring pairs for the duration of six to nine months.
Submit your application via the website link, and a program assistant will contact you via email/ phone to schedule an interview to give us and you the opportunity to get to know one another and match you with a mentor. This meeting will also take place via Zoom. If you have any questions, then please feel free to contact us anytime!
About Woman to Woman Mentoring, Inc.
The power of mentoring is that it creates a one-of-a-kind opportunity for collaboration, problem solving, and goal achievement. Created by a group of community leaders from Frederick, Woman to Woman Mentoring, Inc. is a local 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to cultivate mentoring relationships that provide women with guidance, support, and community connections.
W2WM, Inc. offers three CORE programs a year (one starting in Winter, Spring, and Fall) for young women of Frederick County, typically between the ages of 18 to 35. The program assists women who desire personal and professional guidance through mentoring relationships focused on career, education, and life.
