Woman to Woman Mentoring Inc. is seeking volunteer mentors for our CORE Program and our Women in STEM Program.
Women who have life experiences to share, who are great listeners, have a caring heart and who are interested in having a major impact in the community.
By becoming a mentor, you will work one-on-one with a mentee to provide support and guidance approximately 2 to 4 hours per month in addition to attending one workshop per month with your mentee and the rest of the cohort of mentoring pairs for the duration of six months. One-on-one support and workshops provide a skill building, goal and plan developing, and supportive environment for women in Frederick County looking to take the next step their lives whether it be through their career, education or personal lives.
The CORE Program serves women with a variety of interests between typically between the ages of 18 and 35.
The Women in STEM Program serves women currently enrolled at a college/ university for an undergraduate studies and who are pursuing a degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field of study. Mentors of this program should be currently working in a STEM field/ industry.
