Ice: cold, hard, silent, hidden, dark, slow-moving. Fire: one of elemental powers, hot, crackling, smoldering or fast moving. Artists have been fascinated with the metaphor and allegory of these two elements. Robert Frost wrote a poem about them, Dante invoked them in the Inferno. Join us at NOMA gallery for Fire and Ice.
