DISTRICT Arts is pleased to present the works of Daniel Lai.  Daniel, a self-taught artist of Chinese descent from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was granted U.S. citizenship through extraordinary ability in the field of fine art and arts management in 2014.

Daniel creates sculptures out of discarded books. His narrative book sculptures tell stories of lived moments.

His work is truly one of a kind and must be seen in person to appreciate.

This exhibition will run from September 11 through September 29. The works of more than 30 artists will also be on display.  The exhibition is free and open to the public.  All are welcome.  Visit our website for gallery hours
