Not being an expert, but I might like salsa, blue cheese, cheddar, salami or even anchovy.

Seriously lazy product development by the chip manufacturers in the US. Go to a Great Wall asian market and you see chips with flavors of Hot Pot, Wasabi, Korean BBQ, Numb Tongue (Sichuan) Peppers, and many more from the Phillipines and elsewhere that span a wide variety of flavors that aren't just the dozen variety cheese, BBQ, or Sour Cream & Onion bland varieties of these we get here. From readings I've found, for a chip maker to even consider another flavor takes an estimate of 40% of Americans to "love" the flavor. We only have the boring, finger-reddening "Flamin' Hot" here because it garnered 15% of stubborn hot flavor lovers to be consistent enough to eat that crap hot chip....getting red stuff everywhere in the process.
