About Frederick Children's Chorus

For 30 years, the world-class Frederick Children’s Chorus (TFCC) has taught children to sing amazing classical music, beautiful folk music, fun and funny songs rich in culture, and songs with lyrics derived from great poetry. The Chorus trains young singers to practice, to read music, and the discipline and teamwork necessary for artistic performance.

TFCC performs several times a year in the Frederick Area and also offers its singers unique travel performance opportunities. Singers interested in a more expansive experience may sing with TFCC travel chorus or chamber singers.

Children who participate in TFCC learn so much more than how to sing. They develop confidence, compassion, empathy, and cooperation in a supportive environment with other great kids. Best of all, these benefits last well into adulthood and make a lifetime of choral singing possible--community choirs everywhere are eager to welcome dedicated singers of any age.
