The African American Resources, Cultural and Heritage Society invites the public to view a display of historical items from the collection of the late Kathleen Snowden at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center.

The partial display includes photographs, books, artifacts and various documents, including original slave sale documents from Thomas Johnson and Fredericktonians.

Snowden was an avid collector of black history memorabilia and was the author of four books. The annual AARCH membership meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Call David Key at 301-573-5731 for details.
